I saw your reply in the thread how-fix-my-helios-44m.
I'm so impressed. That was incredible. A great systematic triage of a lens problem, and ideas on what went wrong. Love it.
I never opened a lens and thought it was over my head. Now I think I could. I bet I need tools to turn things. I had thought that if I could buy lenses with haze and fungus on ebay, take them apart and clean them. Should be a good way to get cheap glass and even resell for more lens money. (I've seen other posts of yours, I appreciate all your photographic knowledge)

So is the opposite of a photoptimist a photonegative?

Even a heart of gold has a shadow. I'm sure you have your ways of mollifying Mrs Rupert and Otis although perhaps peanut butter only works on one of them. ;-)

    Best Regards!

Thank you for your kind words! I'm not always so wonderful...in fact, Mrs Rupert reminds me several times a day and Otis Squirrel dozens more times!

    Best Regards!

I've always known that squirrels rule the world -- there's big brain thinking in those furry little skulls -- and your images just prove it!
