There is this old English poem, called Jesus Christ the Apple Tree.
It's probably a referral to a verse in Revelation 22, where the tree
of life that once stood in Paradise, is planted for the healing of the
nations....

Revelations 22:1&2
1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

Gorgeous.
Everybody's complaining about the snow, but it gives such great pictures and covers all the uglyness in the world.

Rather serene, in a brrrry kind of way. Love the picture, but I gotta say: I'd rather be with the carrot cake than the orchard at this point!
