Picture 17 of 28 from Album Single in October
My purpose today (I did have one) was more technical. I wanted to see how this F lens handled flare and what, if any purple fringing would be present. Considering there is no hood (it is a fish eye) it did extremely well, with basically no visible flare and little pf.

Well your purpose may have been a technical experiment but the result is a phenomenal image!

Not only that, but the backlighting on the leaves is sweet. The wide angle Pentax lenses seem to handle flare very well, although in my experience color fringing is frequently a weak point. Good to see that the 17-28 seems good in both departments.

Great shot, the colors, bokeh, everything. Just great!

    Beautiful results.

Looks good. My DA 10-17mm would have produced pf here for sure.
