Walked outside this morning and everywhere I turned there was something to shoot. This little busy guy, a cardinal and a squirrel 15 ft away chattering at me.
I liked the square crop of this the most, shot at f4, very little sharpening with a +5 contrast adjustment.

The leaves and petals have a wonderful quality and the square crop sets this off very nicely. I honestly don't miss really hot weather but I do miss natural colour.

Great capture, and a beautiful flower. If you had managed to get the focal plane on the bee (no easy task) it would have been awesome!

Nicely done. Love the composition. A smaller aperture may have gotten the bee in focus, but a tricky shot to be sure.
