I think getting closer to the gate would have helped. That would have given more foreground interest, given a higher point of view to the cotton field and placed the sign further above.

Yes, I guess the field was almost shimmering in the light, and this hasn't quite come across. Beautiful scene, however, and well worth another visit!

I like it; I've never before seen a cotton field up close. The cotton looks great, although I think Sandy's suggestions would help the composition. I'd love to get more of a sense of depth in the field.

Wow that's a big open area....must be interesting to watch it being harvested
