Thanks for the encouragement...It helps! I was wondering what the heck I was going to do with this lens and get the best out of it. Primes make us focus more (ha ha) and get us not to be so lazy like the zoom lens. This is my first challenge so I have alot of energy for the challenge and since I am kinda new I guess I feel the need to make a statement too :-).
I have barely moved from 1.9 for any of these shots, I guess I could step down a bit lol :-)

I used the 43 for a single challenge about a year or more ago and it has become my go to lens. It's bokeh can be very similar to the 77, but a bit harsher. Up to about f5.6 they both surprisingly produce very circular bokeh. Above that it starts to become more hexagonal, but of course harder to produce, especially since neither really has much of a close focus.
I'm enjoying the results you are getting also.

Hey :-) Thanks for the comment on my little statue :-) I have a question... have you any experience with circular bokeh from the 43? I thought since it was an older type lens with different blades? I was expecting more hexagons than circles and was surprised by the results.
The 43 is so sharp, gees razor wire this stuff! :-) But for the Bokeh challenge it is probably a good lens for this month... Cheers!
