Your post is all too true.
Frankly I am appalled anybody could spend $10,000 to $14,000 on a camera, make several thousand exposures and dump the lot on a computer, of which a massive percentage will never see the light of day, much less the working light of a printer or a framer's shop. In professional and now semi-retired life, I never could understand this preoccupation with people spending huge amounts of money on lavish camera to take (rather than make) snapshots (including Leica fanatics). For that serious money you could start up a property investment portfolio (as I did) that will generate far more income than a camera that will lock you into a destructive "the newest upgrades" syndrome every 6 months.
I will never ever move away from film.

Hi there! Rumour has it that you might just have a focussing aid for the Pentax 67 55-100mm Zoom lens. It's exactly what I'm currently looking for after I recently purchased this lens. Thanks in advance, Rick
