Hi Tom,
When you get a chance could you please judge the Smoke Project photos?
Thanks,

Hi there,Tom! It's only been about a year and a half, so I thought I'd drop a note to see what's new and how you've been doing.

I guess you could call what I paid for the DA 35mm 1:2.8 a good deal. When the dust settled I paid $251.00 for it. I don't think I paid too much for a Pentax "Limited" lens. Amazon has a couple new ones (with the green stripe) for $486.00 and used for $398.00.

It's been quite awhile but I thought I'd send a note and see what you were up to. I'm in a lens slump cause all I have are the Sigma18-50mm 1:2.8-4.5 HSM, the Tamron SP 90mm Macro, and the Sigma 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 APO macro zoom. Camera wise though, I certainly can't complain cause I bought a K-3 from Adorama last year. (it came with a flu card and the battery grip). I just won an auction for a DA 35mm 1:2.8 Macro (1:1) lens which I'll have by next Friday. With that said, I can feel the old (gotta have more lenses) bug biting me. I had the Sigma 10-20mm 1:3.5 HSM but had to sell it due to medical bills. Hopefully that will be my next one. It is a SUPER lens and I am still grieving.
Any way, if you're still out there, drop me a line.

What a shame. In 1960 Missouri was the #2 auto making state to Michigan. Today every St. Louis plant (5), all the related steel mills, Carter Carburetor, ancillary parts plants, railroads - everything other than GM's 1986 Wentzville truck plant and Ford trucks in Kansas City - is gone. Unless you'd lived here you'd never know.
