Just a little missive re your shots of the Black-shouldered Kite with the Rabbit.
I have an old mate who has been studying and photographing raptors for probably more than 50 years, and it's his view that a BSK could never have lifted/carried the Rabbit up into the tree.
They are just not powerful enough to do that.
His feeling is that the Rabbit was probably put up there by a larger raptor and left for some reason...frightened off or somesuch, and then the lucky BSK came along.
