A month with a classic:

Let's see how this lens compares to last month's Chinon.

A month with my trusty Auto Chinon Multi Coated 1:1.7 50mm. Definitely a great performer for little cash.

The one year anniversary of the original challenge. This month I'll go with another manual prime: SMC Pentax 1:1.8/55.

Lens o' the Month ...Vivitar (Komine) 28mm 1:2.8 AUTO WIDE-ANGLE.

I like the motivation to shoot each day, because otherwise, life gets in the way, and shooting is a nice diversion. Past months have seen generally longer focal lengths, and this lens hasn't had much use because I also have an SMC-A 28/2.8. So, lets see what this baby can do.

Auto Chinon Multi-Coated 1:1.4 50mm.

I've had this lens for about a year. An internet purchase with a Chinon camera. Unfortunately, I later discovered that the lens had a fungus, which I've tried treating using multiple methods: cold cream, silver polish, hydrogen peroxide, sunlight and also exposure to a UV bulb. Hopefully, it's killed, but there is still the "web" marks in the coatings of the rear element. I guess we'll see just what it can still give IQ-wise throughout the month.

The lens could also be delaminating I suppose, but it definitely has some issues with the rear element.

Kiron 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 Macro 1:4

Getting to know my SMC Pentax 1:2.5 135mm.

Not only will taking an interesting photo each day be a challenge, but recording the f-stop and other particulars such as filter use, etc.
