Hi.
Haven't been to Thailand since we left just before the Covid scare, some three years ago! How are you doing yourself?!
Found an excellent guide, Tom Skoglund, a fantastic polyglot, and well-known birder living in Hua-hin, who, coming from the Swedish-speaking parts of Finland, was the best guide you could think of. Sadly, he passed away before our next adventure, due to cancer, and now I have cancer, too! C'est la vie!
Hope to get back to Thailand in May, before the twins' next birthday!
Not yet fatal, far from it, but needs to be checked ever so often.
Peter, our son, had twins after eight years of marriage in Thailand, so he will not move anywhere unless there are problems with his employment in Thailand. The kids now go to preschool most days of the week, soon five years old.
All the best,
Tord
PS I shoot mainly with Nikon nowadays, but can't afford the new Z cameras, so I use older systems like the Nikon 1 and various Nikon DSLRs.

Hi,
I've been in Thailand for almost a month now, and been having a ball! As soon as I'm home I'll start posting photos! Baan Maka, up near Kaeng Krachan is family-friendly, if not much to do in the evenings! No TV, but other-wise 5 star! See Baanmaka.com
For three days there, including breakfast, lunch and dinner, and beer (expensive!) we paid around 10,000 Baht, including tips, guides, and transport!
Tomorrow we'll be going to a kite festival!

Hi there!
Been recommended to contact you, as I, and my dear wife, are going to Thailand, and for the first time we plan to see some of the bird life!
My stepson lives in Hua-Hin, so we'll have our base there. He prefers the warmth of Thailand over the cold and wet weather here in Sweden, especially during this time of the year.
A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,
Tord

I use a focus screen from these people. Firstly in my K7 and have now moved it into the K5.
Which screen did you buy if you don't mind me asking? Thx.
