Interesting how the mirror lens gives the foreground and background a watercolor kind of vibe while the subject stays sharp.....

I have noticed it is almost like focusing with a range finder... it is like two images that don't line up... I am still on the fence about it...

Nice shot. My 500mm mirror does the same thing with water so it may be a characteristic of mirror lenses.

Great capture....I view on a laptop and my 'monitor crop' reduces somewhat the effect of the mirror lens.
