I appreciate the post. I used a 50-135 as a rental during a wedding the other day as a second shooter I love the way it feels in the hand. I love the idea of the 70-200 but I think for what I want to do (portraits and street) that the 50-135 will suit me better.

I refuse to change systems! Although those $2100 FF look nice

Hi,

The wife had the 50-135, and I the Tammy 70-200, both superb with our K-5s. The 50-135 has been sold on, because the wife thought it a bit front heavy, not balancing that well in her hands.

There is a new version of the Tamron, with SR, but not for us Pentaxians, so I am slowly changing to Nikon!
