Glad those little fellows found a user. Pointless to have equipment that is just collecting dust when there is someone who could put them to good use and appreciate having them.

Quick correction. I think I sent you a message about diopter eyepieces available presently on the PF MARKETPLACE. Turns out these are the "M" series diopters that fit the later, larger Pentax eyepieces so they are too large for the camera you are using. Sorry for my error.

Dear NecroticSoldier:
Just pulled out the eyepiece unit, I actually have two of them. The rubber seems to be in good shape (old rubber sometimes gets dry, stiff and cracky, sometimes sticky). Send me your full address and I'll try to get one packed and mailed ASAP. The unit accepts a circular lens below a black knurled ring (the ring turns easily - I tested to make sure the threads weren't stuck). You might be able to get a lens of the right size and diopter from an optical supplier such as Edmund Scientific, but be sure the lens is THIN enough to fit in and allow the knurled ring to thread back to hold it. Alternatively an optician may be able to fabricate one to your reading prescription if you have one.
AND, don't worry about cost or shipping. Too trivial to bother. A gift from one Pentaxian to another. If you have a chance, pass a little gesture forward.
Sincerely,
Walter P. Coombs Jr.
