As Galileo, I appreciate your proposal of a better review, and learned something reading yours.
Salut!

Hello Paolo, a photography trip to Thailand sounds like an excellent time, I look forward to seeing any photos you may post of the trip when you get back. I do a sort of travel blog here in my home state of Florida, though I'm a little behind in my posting, called Everything Florida. I write about and illustrate with pictures I've taken of all manner of places, parks, preserves, historical sites and more. Will post a link on my page here when I get a chance. --Eric C

I accidently posted a thread with no content. How do I remove this "empty" thread?

Hello, read your very excellent review for the Pentax K version of the 135mm f2.5. Just wanted to say I appreciated what you had to share about older vs newer lenses. Most of what little I do know about digital photography and using older lenses I've learned through trial and error and reading a few articles and some forum posts by people who sounded like they know what they're talking about. I noticed a few posts below your review someone had posted pictures of butterflies he'd taken and I recalled only a couple years ago myself attempting to use my Vivitar 135mm 2.8 close focusing to do the same thing. Learned that day that lenses have their intended purpose; the Viv is a great lens for portraits, not so great for nature photography.
Anyway, without taking up any more of your time I wanted to say thanks for sharing your knowledge, we--particularly novices like myself--could all benefit from more sensible posts/reviews by people like yourself.
