Camera end with focusing bellows.
Pentax Kx fitted to the end of the tube via bellows.
Telescope with Huygens eyepiece end.
Business end of telescope with lens cell containing the 30mm plano-convex.
Moon taken at 26x through eyepiece with Canon compact camera.
Moon image with $5 telephoto. Simple plano-convex lens 1000mm x 30mm - f33 (Some chromatic aberration evident at lunar limb).
Pentax Kx attached to the telephoto rig. Essentially a cardboard tube fitted with the plano-convex lens at the end.
Unprocessed. Red and purple chromatic aberration evident but not too obtrusive
Processed. Applied selective hue adjustments to reduce chromatic aberration and sharpening.
