Thanks for the offer! I will be in ontario at least once this summer if not twice. If you ever get out this way you are welcome to drop by too. We have a sailboat and a cottage but I'll bet you are busy in the summer with the outfitting. I hope I get the chance to drop by while I am visiting this summer. I know exactly where you are as I am familiar with whitney and the eastern end of the park. It would be nice to say hello in person and make a new connection with someone who appreciates the Park as much as I do. Hey sawicksted, yes we do run an outfitting business, but you're still welcome to drop in and spend a night at the cabin if you want. We're 3 km from the park. And we're always ready to help people who want to get in to the interior. Just tell your wife you know these people who are experts, cause wives never believe you know anything. We don't rent our boats or tents unless we're guiding, but we can point you to lots of people who do.

I am a teacher in PEI. Music, Math, Fisheries, small engines, etc.. ( Large Rural School ). I grew up in Belleville Ont, camped in Algonquin almost every year since I was 2 years old.
I introduced my wife to algonquin a few years ago and she loved it there.
I think she would like to try interior camping but is nervous!!! We'll see someday.
Might not get much time in Ontario this summer but will likely go up for a night or two if at all possible.
I think you and your wife run an outfitting busines now?
