Picture 17 of 32 from Album Single in January again
Dropping temperatures - this shot is really quite misleading, the temperature is closer to -25C and with the windchill, -35C. The light was falling and it would have been better if I could have gotten closer to the thermometer but, funny thing, all the deck chairs have been put away for the season. Not a great shot but it is Monday, after all!

    Brrr, howdy...
The background of crisscrossed branches is very intriguing.
    Stay warm.

Double Brrrrr! Can't believe you are out there when it is this frigid. The color and bare branches, along with the snow on the thermometer all tell the story.

Ah, the ever vigilant outdoor thermometer - I think its made an appearance during warmer seasons. THAT is pretty bloody cold - lucky us at 4C today. Hope the windchill isn't much for you - stay indoors where it is warm .
  4. OzzRod
Gee, not bad for a safety shot. The pale (glacier) blue framing enhances the coldness nicely.
  5. jackassp
Humans were not made to live in this type of climate.

The conversion really emphasizes the temperature. Cold!

Pretty cold, I tend to look for the safety on those days as well.

@ Jack - HAHA spoken like a true Aussie, come live in the other old colony for a while, you'll get used to it

There is something wrong with that dial...it is 180 degrees out! Crickey, that's bloody cold!

    Cheers Paddy
