Dad was a Scot and did RAAF training WWII which ended in time before he became a rear gunner (shudder), and mum's a POM who was a nurse in hospitals in Pommie land WWII.

Deb's old man was in the AIF sigs, based in Townsville but did did time in New Guinea and somewhere else never mentioned.

My grandfather James Clarke was a sargeant in a Scottish Regiment, but seconded to the Lighthorse for training purposes WWI, and spent the whole of WWI with them in the middle east. Mum still has a Turkish shell head (solid brass and engraved in arabic) in her crystal cabinet which he souvenired. He died youngish after the war from shrapnell wounds!

And Whitlam saved me too!

What's happening on the forum that's worth having a geeza at? I wanna have a crack at a challenge a bit different to the "single in ...." option. I need help finalising something I would like to start so I'll send you a PM soon.

I'm glad everything's okay.
Asked Jack(assp) the same, but he's fine too.
We've got the strangest winter here, had some snow at the end of November, quickly gone and than a little bit of dust in December but that was gone at the end of the day. The days are grey, misty and gloomy, yuk. Since a couple of days we've got a bit of sunshine, so that feels better.
