Hey Confused,
An almost poetic description of a good time in Sweden. Unfortunately I haven't been able to experience the Stockholm archipelago so much. Instead, I have access to my parents' summer cabin further up North and there are some wonderful pine forest coated islands that one can visit. In fact last summer me and my mrs. were out camping on one of them. It was fantastic but back then I didn't have a DSLR, only an Oly P&S.
Concerning Uppsala, I can say that it is a wonderful picturesque town if you look in the right places but since I live here, I've gotten so used to the town that I can't see the photo opportunities.
A few weeks ago I took a picture of the cathedral, I've uploaded it onto Pentax Forums for you. It's an HDR composition of five pictures taken handheld.

I visited Notre Dame in 2005 and when I was inside it reminded me quite alot of the cathedral in Uppsala, or is it the other way around.

I thought it was a bit off topic so I decided to write a PM instead! Anyway, thanks for the post!
