Love old machinery, and the lense (or is it you?) has done a good job capturing it here. Is this yours? I'm intrigued as to what it's purpose was, slides back an' forth cutting/chopping?? Good one Cheers Paddy. (maybe crop the fence bit out..I don't know???)

The lens did a great job. The photographer did a lousy job. Composition could easily be improved by eliminating the fence. Maybe someday the photographer will at least try to notice the background instead of just blazing away on the shutter button...

I think the fence adds to the scene and the exposure works to hilight the subject.
