Picture 15 of 30 from Album Single in November
Day 16:
At almost the end of the day I did take some pictures.
And I thought my shot of 2 days ago was lame, well this one is even more, but at least I didn't miss a day (yet).

It's not lame, it's fun! I love this one...
  2. KarenH
    Thanks Rense

Why are you looking so sad, when you like them?

I know it's not super lame, but I'm the one that's lame, for taking a shot like this while I've got the whole day to search something nice to take pictures of.
  3. Jools
    Yeah, well done.
It is very peaceful and pleasing to the eye.

Arghh! You stole my "safety" shot! Haha.. I was close to not getting anything today and thought of candles during the drive home, but then as it turns out my what I thought were crappy shots just needed a bit of PP. Still may have to come back to this one soon.

Good idea, and the shot itself is very pleasing. I like the various colors, but I would have randomized them a bit... but that's just me.

    Forget the lame bit mate!

I like this, and we all have those days (especially me I think), but you've made an effort in the spirit of the challenge and produced something quite pleasing! Well done!

    Cheers Paddy

Thanks guys! Happy you like them.
@Voytech, I placed them on a little, acrylate plate and there was no more room than to put them the way I did. Need to get a bigger one.
@Paddy, I've got a lot of those days, I think it's also because I'm most of the time at our house and I took pictures of everything I can imagine. But it's the art to take nice pictures of something very ordinary and I don't always succeed at that.

Well, today the sun is shining, did already shoot some pictures of the dogs and I've got some other ideas too.

Karen, I like the layout (two columns). By randomizing, I meant color wise. I love the green ones in the back.
  9. KarenH
    Aha! I understand.
For some reason I always position them in this way.
Here you can see them more clearly, but still with the green ones on the back. Next time when I'm going to take pictures of these things, I will be thinking of you and change their positions

See, you did get something. There's not always something spectacular around to shoot, so turning the ordinary into the spectacular can be even more challenging.

    Oh no candles! ;-)

What is not to like about this picture? And think about this: Sometimes it is the "safety shot" that ends up being shot of the month.
