    I'm glad everything's okay.
Asked Jack(assp) the same, but he's fine too.
We've got the strangest winter here, had some snow at the end of November, quickly gone and than a little bit of dust in December but that was gone at the end of the day. The days are grey, misty and gloomy, yuk. Since a couple of days we've got a bit of sunshine, so that feels better.

    Gudday Karen

Thanks for thinking of us downunder. The big floods are some 2000 miles north of me and mine, but the last 2 days has seen strange weather patterns push the cloud from those flooding rains down south (very unusual) covering large parts of NSW and SA as well (Bramela and Jackassp). This week we have received over 170mm where I live, unheard of for summer, and that's just the leftovers from the Big Dump in Queensland. A few creeks flooded here, a few roads were blocked, and some towns evacuated in Victoria, but as of this moment nothing as serious as my banana bending mates (Queenslanders) from up north!

Thanks again mate...good luck to you and yours! And Buon anno again!

    Cheers Paddy

    Ciao Paddy,

I hope everything is all right with you and your family.
Heard about the floodings, so just checking here to know if you're okay.

    Ciao Paddy,

Happy New Year, Buon Anno and Gelukkig Nieuwjaar

No, I'm not joining, I had the feeling I had to take a little break from all those challenges. But I will check all the albums now and than, because I feel a little lost without doing the challenge. Haha, now that sounds strange, doesn't it?

    Ciao ciao

    Cheers Paddy

No, signorina, ma ora buona sera nel'Australia.

Dankjewel for the correction. I work with a Dutchman who came here when he was 3 years old (and funnily enough he's the same age as me), and though he speaks Dutch he cannot spell it! Several of our customers are also Dutch ...so..I get a bit of a pasting when I try talking to them in their (and your) language! It's allright though...the Italians give me the same...but one reckons I'd make a good Scicilian! Hmmm!

About 40 sheep here...only 20 acres, but no dog though. A neighbour has a kelpie dog which does the work of 10 men when it comes to that stuff!

Ciao caro mio! All the best to the better half!

    Cheers Paddy

    Ciao, buon giorno Paddy.

Had too laugh about the hook-karted (hoe gaat het?)
Dutch seems to be a very difficult language for foreigners, but even for some Dutchies themselves.

I'm glad that the grasmowing season is over for a while, but will be happy when it returns (meaning good weather).
You've got sheep of your own? And do you have a dog with them to herd? Or are you doing that with horses?
Thanks for the compliment on my contributions. Haha, if we don't look at dykes we stick our fingers in them.

And everything is fine, thank you.

    Ciao ciao

    Mi scusi!

Hook-karted! (poor atempt at "how are ya" in Dutch)! Hastableif dankjewel (I think)?

Sorry Karen for the delayed response, but this is a busy time of year downunder..with grass to mow coz' itz growin'toobloody fast, and Mum to look after ('nherbloodygrasstamowaswell), an'sheep'n'such!

I'm enjoying (seriously!) the "Dutch" contribution...you seem to have an eye for things...but then in the Netherlands you look at dykes all day (hee hee!)...sorry just joking!

    Hope all's well!

    Cheers Paddy

    No need to apologize, Paddy.
Is my English that bad that you thought I was Italian?
Actually I'm Dutch, like Rense and Iris.

I like the challenge and it's fun to use another lens that I'm not used to.
On Flickr I'm and admin for Theme&Challenge group, I've got my project 1 year of Pixar and I also join a group on Flickr called 52 weeks for dogs, every week 1 picture of your dog, no diving into the archives. So you see, I've got a lot of challenges photography wise so why did I begin this one in the first place? LOL! Because it's a good thing to go outside your comfort zone.

When I've got the time I'll go check the SIP albums, if they still are there.

    Ciao ciao

Mi scusi Karen. Thought you may be Italiano born'n'bred (oops maybe you are!)

All's well down here thanks, though our spring is a late coming this year, heeps more rain than for the last 10 or so years! Maybe the drought has broken at last?

Hope all's well with you. How're you finding the challenge, I did the one in September?

    Cheers'n'ciao Paddy
