harish thanks for getting back to me...i want the lens but it's got to perform so just not sure how to proceed...i'm assuming you are happy with nikon..that 300vr is an awesome lens...if you buy the k5 i look forward to hearing your thoughts...i have the 70-200 ex non os,hsm and love the lens...i also have the 50-500 os hsm and have only positive things to say about it so i would best that you will like the 70-200..thanks again and enjoy the trip...amy

I was unhappy with inconsistent results ie image quality, that I was getting. I think it is the camera as I was getting the same results with FA and other lens.
Since I am shooting with Nikon D4 and AFS300F2.8 VR lens I decided to sell the Pentax lens. All my heavy Pentax lens are sold and I am keeping the FA200F2.8 and I have just ordered the Sigma 70-200 lens for my trip to Jamaica this month.. I have not decided whether to buy theK-5ll or the K-o1. I will see how Sigma performs with my K-5 and then decide.

harish i remember you had the sigma 500 at 1 time but sold it...can you tell me why you sold it...i also noticed you have the fa300 2.8 which i have also been looking at...i saw your review on the 500 but just curious if there were any other issues...it's hard to put out that kind of $ if you're not going to be happy with it..thanks, amy
