No idea what happened to him. He was always fun to chat with. I haven't seen him since bokehcember last time, about 4 years ago? He may have joined in once or twice more after that, but nothing else jumps out at me.
I saw your comments on the other thread. I also miss RioRico. He was one of the first who made me laugh when I joined the forum and made me happy to come online and chat. It's a shame he can't participate any more.
I spent 2 years in Lyon with my family on a corporate relocation in the mid 1990's and still get back to France 4 or 5 times a year on business.
Chablis is a great place, and while considered part of burgundy, it is really it's own island somewhat removed from the true burgundy region.
I spent quite some time travelling through the burgundy region in my 2 year attempt to learn french by studying french wines. I discovered 2 things, I like Pommard the best, and the more I drank the better my french got
I like that review, straight to the point and thought out in practical terms. Sometimes people go a bit overboard or suffering from LBA to put up an objective review

Thanks for that, Eddie. I am happy to only drop in now and again. I can't get that excited about Pentax these days. And I certainly can't get interested in some of the folk frequenting this all-too-popular forum. But I still have fun taking shots and sharing them over Flickr and Facebook, to people who know me better. That's enough for me!
