i do have the pandora plug in for gimp also, how you you gauge while shooting the percentage of overlapping? It gives the option to adjust the level of overlapping i see, but im unsure how to shoot it in such a manner that it comes out right?
What a wonderful - and slightly scary - article. I would love to have the courage to do what Craig Tanner did.
I thought your post in the "What makes YOU take photos?" thread was very inspirational too. It is a great story, how photography motivated and fuelled your rehab. I suppose it is related to the article you link to: Even at a smaller scale than jumping into full time professional photography, you can still find creative fulfillment and new energy in the heightened awareness and mindfulness that comes with taking pictures. It is simply good to take time to really LOOK at the world!
Hi Mette, I was reading this article from "The Mindful Eye" I thought about your "What makes YOU take photos?" thread at PentaxForum. Inspiration -- The Mindful Eye Photography School
I frequent this website too and found the group to be very supportive.

P.S. Let me know how you find the A* 300mm lens you are getting with your AF adapter. I have been wanting an AF adapter too for use with my high school 300mm/f4 m42 lens.
Mette, I stumbled here and from one image drew me to the next. I enjoyed your images. Very nice recording of your holiday celebration. Thank you for sharing.
You're right about the friendly community! And yes, I'm a biologist, working for the Dutch ministry of defence. I think I am one of those rare field biologists, like you had them in former days.... I saw you're interested in birds - photography wise. Is that your professional occupation too? I'm more a botanist myself, dealing with vegetation mapping and monitoring....
