I was told you have experience with the Tokina 20-35 f2.8 on FF cameras. I'm considering one but wanted to make sure it will meet my needs. I'm specifically interested in edge and corner performance on FF. Can you tell me whether or not the Tokina has issues with corner/edge resolution/sharpness?

I meant to get back to you earlier but October has been quite busy (too many photos to process + annual tax returns, ugh). I had to look up Karelia in Wikipedia as my Finnish geography knowledge is not that strong (well it is the other side of the world to me, literally!).

Sounds like the broader Karelia region has had a rather unhappy 20th century.

I also read that Karelian hot pot is the region's signature dish. Any Karelian hot pot recipes you would like to share? If I cook one up, I'd be pretty sure it would be the only one in Australia on any given night. Don't suggest any variants with reindeer meat - they're hard to find down here, rumored to only be around on the evening of 24th December after everyone has gone to bed, and their red-suited owner has a reputation of keeping a close eye on them!
