Bc's are smart, no doubt. He is my first dog so I was coming up to speed with dog psychology as he grew up. I was behind the eightball for quite some time. They'll quickly train you if you are not careful! And that can cause issues, as I found out. My mutt is meant to be No. 5 in the household pack (the 4 humans are meant to be Nos 1-4), but he has the occasional aspiration to move to No. 3 ahead of the kids. Curiously, once our cat is above ground level, he completely has the dog's respect. An early claw across the nose I think established that. But on the ground, he's fair game to being herded.

All dog owners are biased towards their pets, but he is a beautiful looking animal IMO.

Good luck at Swinburne (?), I did science, fat lodda good that was, but I've had and interesting few years out of it...Maralinga, most uranium mines & prospects around the country and so forth!

I will be looking at this lens, but not straight away. Internals may be similar, but there are no 2 screws holding the front on to allow counterclockwise rotation, but under the rubber fossung ring, now removed, there is a single grub screw.

I'm currently fiddling with an old Super Tak 35mm f/3.5, so I'd like get that up and running first. I was disappointed with the Promura, it's a large heavy lens for it's 28mm range, must have a lot of glass meethinks! Is it worth it...we tinkerers will give it a go anyway!
