    Ed,

Thank you for your insights, very practical I must say. The DA 20-40 limited is "limited" compare to primes after all. I should start looking for the 18-135WR or the 16-85WR or even the humble 18-55WR as an alternative to my primes. Once again thank you.

    Ed,

Thank you for your time and gave response to my inquiry, at first I was using fast zooms for events (paid) as these are more practical vs primes, but now my preference is to go smaller albeit a little slower (in terms of aperture openning) but I agree with you specially during weddings the 21 and 35M are sufficient specially with the high ISO capabilities of the newer camera released by Pentax then slap a 70 or any telephoto for those long shots later.
I am really looking for a WR zoom as a "one lens" should there be a case my primes are unusable (i.e. bad weather). Currently looking at the 18-55,18-135,16-85, 20-40 but inasmuch as possible I would prefer the smaller option.

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

Sorry to bug you sir, but may I ask you re the DA 20-40? How do you find the lens? I remember it sometime ago that you bought it and hoping to replace some of you DA limited lenses in favor of 15-20/40-70 combo.

    Thanks.

    Alvin
