I am currently trying to work out an adapter for the 50 and 70 so I can close up them (and also achieve infinity) It is not simple to get them close enough in on a helicoid.
Glue is great stuff and I chuckle when some people fret over the weight of their lens sticking out of the Q. Mine are held on with araldite, M200 included.

The 70mm 110 has a 49mm filter so that is a simple fit
I took a 40.5mm uv filter and smashed the glass out and glued this on the 50mm (sacrilege I know)
Also did this on a couple of my enlarger lens.
There is a cheap 40.5 lens hood available from Aliexpress (and presumably ebay) It actually has a 52mm female thread inside the hood but I also glued a smashed out 49mm filter ring inside it so the Takumar hood just screws on. Works a treat.
Because the 18 and 24 are smaller I had to take a different approach. I nabbed the 110 mount from a dead auto110 and bonded it in a washer that slips down inside the helicoid tube in the setup I showed in the adapted lens thread. Mine is a tight fit so I haven't stuck it in and it doesn't get in the road for other lens(m42). The 18 and 24 fit inside the m42 female thread and on this mount. It achieves infinity.
It was a simple job to glue together a male M42 to a female 49mm and attach the Tak hood.

Hey Chris I hadn't spotted this guestbook entry till today!! Sorry.
How are you going with the 110s?
I think you are thinking down the right path about controlling the light on the lens. And it doesn't matter to have several ways of baffling the light. The reinforcing ring is great for the back and I have set up a further baffle down in the standard 110 adapter. It is a circle of about 10mm dia. (must be bigger than tha 8mm diagonal of the sensor. I agree totally about the front of the lens but I have used the approach of a very tight hood so that little unnecessary light hits the front glass. You would know the 100mm Takumar metal hood-- well I found a plastic uv filter case that slipped tightly on to the end--- cut a 40mm hole in that and matt blacked it. So this is a baffle right out on the end of the hood.
