Picture 2 of 27 from Album Single in July 2012
Paddy's Challenge. We have books everywhere and on every topic you can imagine. As my wife is currently working on another degree, this time a masters in history, a lot of the books up front are of the history variety. As you can see, the bookshelf is beginning to bend under the load. I moved the Tak 28 to the K5 so I could hand hold it and get a pretty decent high ISO shot as ther are books piled on the floor and using a tripod wasn't going to work. The light coming in the window made for some reflections on the book jackets.

i started a new theme with my book shot, it appears. An interesting library of great reading there. Well done!

This is compelling me to do this shot too - Paddy and his challenge (grumble ) - I unique collection you've there.

Seem to be a lot of history buffs here. I like the crammed shelf, I can relate!
  4. patjp
Interesting collection of books. Only one I recognise is the Schama book.

Don't blame me...it's Bruces' fault...he just got me thinkin'. (hee hee)

We all seem to have a collection of history books, amongst other more novelly stuff...which I find intriguing! Thanks Richard old son.

    Cheers Paddy
