Hi Peter ,
I have been lucky with the White -wings , photographing them both on Mosquito Creek rd and at the dam . I was beside the road near the tiny dam just over the fence [ about 20 meters ] on the left about 2kms from the turnoff from the highway , I did not go over the fence so they were long distance for these small birds and at two locations near the houses at the dam .

Sure. Give me a call. I am usually here but I go away to work sometimes. No White-winged Fairy Wrens here that I have ever seen. I think some were reported down at the Coolmunda dam end of the road. We have the Superb Fairy Wren around here. They nest in the garden.

I have been up Mosquito Creek road several times trying for White-winged Fairy Wrens . I have also stayed at Lake Coolmunda on a few occasions .
