Wow, I see what you mean. Several of my lenses do have front lens delaminaton but not enough to detect anything on the pictures. Haze problems on the edge are even less likely to be noticed. What you have is not normal unless you have severe delamination or other issues. Has anyone else been messing with the lens. How does the lens look when you shine a light through it? That should show any problems such as fungus or moisture.

I'm not sure what comments you are referring to, or which M 50mm you mean, 1.7,1.4,2.0?. What haze are you speaking about? Could you be more specific please as I may have written comments years ago.

Hi. I just noticed your comments about the SMC Pentax M 50mm lens. Does your lens give a rainbowy glow around bright lights, like car headlights or street lamps? Mine has the haze around the corner you mentioned and I'm worrying the glow is with the lens, and not the film. :\ Thank you
