Hi Tabl10s, this is uncanny but my parents (both deceased now) were also from St Ann Jamaica, up in the hills. I do know the giant Avocado you mention (you can find those if you keep your eyes peeled) and I also miss curry goat. Truly a 'yardie' eh?! I stay in Toa Payoh, Singapore these days. I'll likely return to the US at some point but not sure when

Hey,

I was born in England, but the rest of the family is from JA. My parents moved back 10 years ago and live St Ann which I visited 18 months ago. I discovered that I'm a city mouse as they lived waaaaay up in the hills and didn't watch any TV for 10 days because since Internet service wasn't available, TV wouldn't be either.

I miss having giant Avacado and eggs for breakfast with Curry Goat. Did you go to NY or FL when you came over?
