Thanks for your message! I have the K-30. It does have a multi-exposure setting and I have used it before, but it is a pain to set up. You have to set it for every multi-frame exposure you want to do; it doesn't automatically stay in the multi-exposure setting (that I've found). Plus, then you have to shoot the layered exposures RIGHT THEN. It's not like with film where you can shoot a roll, rewind it, reload it and shoot the whole roll again over top of whatever you had. I guess the obvious solution is to just use film to do my double exposures, eh? ;-)

Thanks for your comment. I played with Mutliexposure and film cameras as well, digital in-camera is definiteyl easier than using mask filters and manually holding back the film from advancing.
I have a K-5, and it has a Multi exposure setting in the Camera menu, which Pentax are you using? I came across this setting strictly by accident, but this time it turned out OK, and I want to try it on a few different subjects.
