Thanks for this information. I am still in engagement with my first Bonika :-) . Will go to botanical garden for real testing.

I got a Tokina 90mm PK/A version without extender. Really impressed. Better than my tamron 90mm in bokeh for sure.

Just forget to ask: do you have Tokina 90mm PK/A mount with extender? And do you want to sell it :-)? I saw several tokina 90mm pk/a mount sold in this year for around $300-$400 but unfortunately no extender so far yet.

Hi Letian, I currently own 3x of Viv S1 90mm macro and 2x of Tokina 90mm macro. This Bokina has very specific and lovely bokeh, you'd take a chance to try it. As for Tamron, it's a good lens too especially when you take its price into consideration. I have this Tamron too, but I find myself always go out with either Pentax-A 100/2.8 macro or a Bokina.

There is no perfect lens, but you may get a GOOD one which you feel easy to use and can produce pleasant results. Good luck on lens hunting and happy LBA.

    Dear Jcdog2006,

I saw you had spent a lot of efforts to get a Tokina 90mm F2.5 PK/A version. How about it? Do you rate it high (how to compare with other macro like Tamron 90mm F2.8)? I am in the same process which is eager to looking for it :-) is it worthy to do so?

    Best Regards,
    Letian
