I have the Top of the line Hoya on one of my lens. I have the B+W on two others. I think the B+W is superior. The one I get is the Nano by B+W. It is the top of their line. I have checked reviews and and it is rated far higher then the Hoya. When I hold them up, side by side, and rotate under various light sources, the difference is apparent. I believe that Kenko and Hoya are the same company. I just order the B+W polarizer Nano 62mm ($125) for my 18-135mm. With a step down ring by B+W can also use it with my 55-300mm. Also with my Pentax 49mm lenses. If you can find it, Outdoor Photographer June 2012 did a great review on filters. I don't want to spend money on a lens and then put a cheap piece of glass in front of it that can cause flaring and degrade the image. The alternative is to use no filter. I would do that but I'm somebody who cleans my lens, front element before each use. I feel that this could affect the coating.
