    Hi Fred,
    I'm looking forward to seeing those images. Even with "Live View" I have a tough time getting that focus just right. For now, hooking up a monitor to my K5 is beyond my pay grade.

    Hi Fred,
    I just wanted to "Thank You" for sharing your expertise and knowledge on this forum. Last year you encouraged me to take my snowflake pics to the next level after seeing one of my postings. This summer I gathered all the necessary parts and made a copy of your "snow catcher". We finally got some snow in Buffalo, NY and I had a good first try. I need to work on my lighting technique and a few other things but feel confident I'm heading in the right direction. I've submitted three images on PF if you'd like to see my first attempts.
