Thank you very much for that 'Like'. I wasn't expecting it. Those are some of my favourite shots from when I first started using a DSLR.
The little girl was a flower girl at a family wedding. Her mother loves the photo, in spite of me cutting off the flower. DA* 50-135
The car was an original Aston Martin made in 1937 or 1938. It was worth around $US500,000 to $US750,000. The owner sold it a few years ago to a Swiss collector for a lot of money.
The man with the cockatoo is George. I used to drive past his house nearly every day and one day I stopped and asked if I could take a photo of him with one of his cockatoos. DA* 50-135
The white duck is a big crop of one of the first shots I took on the day I bought my DA* 50-135. I managed to get the focus on the eye.
The iris flowers were in our garden. It could have been my FA 50 1.4.
The final picture is Horst. I've known him for over 40 years. We both sailed A-class catamarans. DA* 16-50.
