When i uplod from my Flickr account i do it as follows:

In Flickr on the the photo's page click on the curved arrow icon at the bottom right of the image.

In the dialogue box that comes up click on "BBC Code"

Then select the size of the image you want to copy - we usually use one approximately 1000 pixels on the long side (any larger and it wont' display without scrolling. if you add a second image select a smaller size.

Then copy and past the text into your reply on PF.

As as side note you may need a different selection than BBC Code for other web sites. facebook for example does not use that, but i forget which one it does.
