4. The challenge is interactive. Any response is welcome.
5. The judge will pick the WINNERS and choose 1 of them to be the judge for the next week.
6. This challenge runs for 7 days plus a day for the judge to choose the winners.

I stopped at a field to photograph some hay bales in the mist. I had been waiting for the mist to setup some photos. No sooner did I get my camera out than this deer walked up over the top of the rise. I got a couple of shots off, including this one with a 28-75mm and then ducked into the car to change to a 55-300mm lens. By the time I looked back, she was gone. Some post processing here, but only in terms of cleaning up some artifacts and in color desaturation to enhance the dreamy/misty effect.

A pair of shoes caught in ice fog...I wanted to capture the shoes but the ice crystals lit up when I used the flash...thought it was a really neat effect!

A bit of a different approach here. Morning mist caught and refracted by the rising sun into a local "mini rainbow". Taken three and a half years ago. My trusty old DS and Tamron 90mm macro combo.

Well, it's the only misty/foggin shot I could find in my library.

Farm in Curtis Va, foot of the blue Ridge mountains.

Yeah, I see the dust, I've fixed it but didn't have a chance to re upload a new one to flickr last night.

Jog Falls

A picture of the top of Jog Falls. The area is extremely lush and beautiful. There is always a mist flowing up from the (distant) bottom.

The Great Smokie Mountains

Some great shots so far.

I entered this one into the monthly challenge a couple of months ago. It's the only mist/fog shot I have.
