Farming - Agriculture

I didn't realize that there is not a thread for agriculture of farm scenes. There is already a great thread on barns, so this a little wider. Let's see what we've got.

Picking Corn:

A common site at corn harvest time, corn spilled on the road:

I have been shooting farming equipment for a good while now - here is a most recent one.

Shot with the Vivitar (Samyang) 13mm 2.8, desaturated a bit in PP:

From Carriage Hill Metro-Park (Working historical farm) here in Dayton.

I'll post a few more later.

That winter scene is Christmas card perfect Tim, I love it!

I live in a large city surrounded by farm and ranching country but most of my shots are roadside views. Here are a couple fairly recent ones from the drive between my place and the little town my folks live in:

Excellent! I am looking forward to winter this year here in MD, I have actually purchased some specific lenses just for snowy shots this year...

I love the hay bail shot. It's hard to find good scenic winter shots here in Ohio.

Great idea for a thread! These were taken in March at Nash Farm, a 150 yr old working farm they are restoring. Nowadays it's mostly used for parties, and seasonal event gatherings.
