Post your most 3-d looking pictures!

Here's one from me taken yesterday (with Zeiss Sonnar 50mm f1.5 ZM @1.5, ISO800, 1/60sec). Will try to find my best 3d pic with the Pentax next:

It's not the sharpest pic around but the OOF transition (to my eyes) renders it in quite a 3-d way.

Those are great examples! I just shot this early dandelion the other day & thought it was somewhat 3d-ish: K55/1.8

One of the first ~100 pics I took short after I got my K-r, with a Pentax F 35-70 mm that I got used for 23 eur just some days after I got the K-r. Santa out in a public spot in town for the kids to enjoy, and I shot a cpl of pics on him using "Auto Pict".... I gotta say the camera did an amazing job, and I get a 3D feel on both santa and his chair there... No postprocessing!

The DA 15 makes for some great 3D feel shots when you get real close.

To get the "3-D" look, you need to isolate your subject in a completely in different plane of focus than the rest of the picture without (or very little) any focus to OOF transition.

I have a ton of examples and I'll try to get round posting them all, but heres an example-

Great photo and a good way of describing how to achieve the effect. IMO, blurring the background to the point where it's not recognizable doesn't provide the context that 3d needs.

Here are some more

Great pics! If you guys don't mind, include the lens they were taken with (and f-stop if possible).
