Let's keep up the high standard of shots we have seen over the past weeks.

Rules as before:

1) No theme just your favorite stuffs.
2) Let's keep it to about 4-6 images per post just so the thread doesn't get too big each week .
3) Any Pentax camera is fine, film, P&S, DSLR (or Samsung DSLR)
4) Runs for 7 days <Sunday September 1st to September 7th.>

There are already so many beautiful nature shots, flowers, insects and birds already this week that I've kept my lens on people for a change.

Labor Day weekend in Chico, it is traditional for many of the Chico State students to tube the Sacramento River. It has calmed down some over the years but still is going strong. Sunday had 10,000 tubers according to the law enforcement guys there. Today, Labor Day Monday, the number was probably nearer a thousand, even though the river was cold with a cold breeze.










The local law enforcement officers are also out on the river keeping an eye on the safety of the participants.
