Awesome! I've been messing around with purposeful out of focus close ups lately, and my tamron 90mm should be at my door when i get home today(!!) so that should only add to my fun. I'll add my LBA shot up sometime this week when I get something good. Your macros have been great, keep up the good work.

I can't wait to see what you are going to post I just got my Tamron 90mm macro last week! Fell in love with it the first time out. Glad to hear someone else is playing around with out of focus too. I think you can get some very interesting shots like that.

Great stuff Dave, Well here's a couple. Very little time with the camera this past 10 days or so. Work is over the top and the weather is crappy. I went back to my deer spot to try again. I'm just too noisy. Got one shot off before they bolted. Sucks too there were 6 of them feeding.

A re-shoot of another area some of you have seen before. This time I wanted to try and get the second lighthouse. Got a finger wag from the cops this time. Pulled me over to explain stopping on the bridge is not allowed.

You want out of focus? I can do that and I don't even have to try.

Thanks Rosemary. It's not any bridge and here's a Google Earth look. 13.9 Kms long (about 9 miles) over the Northumberland Strait.

If you type "Confederation Bridge PEI" in Google earth you'll get the spot and see pictures others have taken from the area (including the lighthouse above). I want to submit this one to them but make it something no one else has taken.
