Denver, CO — PENTAX RICOH IMAGING AMERICAS CORPORATION today announced the addition of a white WG-3 to its ruggedized lineup of compact cameras which launched in March 2013. The WG-3 line of cameras is now available in five colors including the new white, black and orange or in green or purple in the GPS version. WG-3 in white is a good news for all kinds of doctors, dentists etc. who use WG-3 camera and its excellent macro capabilities in their everyday work. Because the camera works in clean medical environments, white colour is better than black. And it seems WG cameras are becoming increasingly popular in that market segment.

You may all roll your eyes, but from that perspective the news is truly newsworthy, yes.

Correct - Pentax WG model with Macro and LED's has a strong presence in the Dental Appliances market. They are actually distributed by the B2B Division (Ricoh Americas Corp) for that market.
