Difference between Program and TAv mode on K7?

As title, they seem to work identically for me with Tv on one dial and Av on the other. Whats the difference???

In P mode, the camera initially decides on everything when you press the shutter release halfway. In TAv mode, you decide on shutterspeed and aperture and the camera decides on the third parameter (ISO) when you press the shutter release halfway.

Also, you can set the Program Line to optimize the Program exposure as you wish. I'm not sure with the K7, but my K20D allows for:

* High-speed -- higher shutter-speed priority
* Depth-of-field -- lower aperture priority
* MTF -- best aperture per AF lens used

Wow, I feel stupid for not having understood what the P-mode does. I thought that the "optimization" was a bit useless when trying it out in Tv and Av but now I get it, thanks guys!
