Adapter rings or "one size fits all"?

Anyone have experience with the one-size-fits-all Cokin filter holder? As opposed to the individually sized adapter rings?

(though when shooting my DA 14 on the Cokin P system the CP or a grad is about as far as I can go w/o vignetting.
Lee make a special wide angle filter holder that doesn't suffer from this problem when used with my Nikkor 14-24mm f/2.8G ED @14mm though it is specifically engineered to be used on that lens.

X-Pro is for that purpose too with the universal adapter (118mm)

I have it--called the Universal Holder.

It's good to have in a pinch, but you're better off with the rings:

I think that it will rotate on certain zoom lenses, but not sure.
