Samsung GX20 Debug Mode Focus Adjust

Hey

I am trying to find how to adjust the focus on my Samsung GX20. I have just bought a Pentax SDM DA* 50 -135 and took it on a days shoot and noticed a massive back focus problem.

I have tried some methods I have found on the internet using a modset file on the SD card but I cant seem to find the focus menu.

Can anyone please help!

If the GX 20 is like the K20 then you don't need to enter debug mode to change the focus. In the K20 menu there is a setting marked AF Adjustment. If you turn that on, you can save auto focus adjustment for a given lens, or for the whole camera if need be.

Aye, i have found that, but I need to adjust it more that +/-10 so I need the debug menu. I have got into the debug menu but I cant find the focus option.

Isn't the adjustment cumulative? Do 10 first, do another 5; total will be 15.

I might be mistaken but that's what I've read about the K20D somewhere.

No, it's either +/- 10 for all or +/- 10 for each lens. That doesn't make it +/- 20.

That is not what I meant. Adjust an individual lens to +10; from what I understand, the next time you adjust, it's reading is 0 again and you can adjust another 5 or 10.

But again, that is what I've read somewhere but I might be totally wrong.
