A hair in the viewfinder...

Ok it is not having any adverse effects on the finished picture however it is annoying...

When I look in the viewfinder there is a small "hair" and what appears to be some dust or other foreign particles.

Ive "cleaned" what I can readily access and being new do not want to attempt anything more. Light brush on the inside mirror areas and the dust removal process.

I am going on a trip next month and will have the camera more then likely cleaned after that (7 days at a beach) just cause.

First is there any harm in having it professionally cleaned when you havent even had it for a year.

Secondly should I worry to much about the stuff that is not affecting my pictures?

Put this here as I didnt know where to post this.

Thanks in advance.

It's annoying, but you're likely to make things worse by trying to get rid of it. Better to just let it be.

As for a professional cleaning, it's like any other profession. Some practitioners are great, some are good, some are bad, some bring shame on the profession. That's life--sometimes you "pays your money and you takes your chances."

Agree with MPrince. Try to ignore it if its not effecting the actual pictures.
My frist DSLR before going back to Pentax was Nikon D40 and I had an annoying hair in the viewfinder. Even being very careful I ended up with 3 hairs and a dot after.

I can confirm this advice.

Before i had some annoying spots. Now, I have one spot that looks more or less permanent . I would only use a blower, if anything. It's not worth the trouble, really.
